Back to the Sources: A continued Exploration of the Reform Movement, Past and Present
This monthly Sunday morning program will focus on major issues within the Reform Movement and the Jewish world at large. Together we will explore such issues as the ethics of warfare, immigrant rights, is there such a thing as a just war, gay and lesbian civil rights and other topics brought forth by the group. In addition to current publications by the Reform Movement, we will look at Talmudic, Mishnaic and Biblical sources in English to understand how certain responses were developed. In order to join our Sunday morning Salon, all you need to bring are your opinions, questions and concerns and in return we ask you to be open to opinions other than your own (be they left, right or center).
