Jazz Shabbat

Join us for an evening of Jazz inspired arrangements, prayer, and even some standards woven into our service!

The connection between the Jewish community and Jazz runs deep — from Irving Berlin, and George and Ira Gershwin, to Leonard Bernstein, to Stan Getz, and more.

The art of improvisation has long been the backbone of Jazz as well as the Cantorial tradition, and there has always been a great deal of mutual respect and admiration between both worlds. Join us as we celebrate the merging of these rich musical traditions!
