The Junior Youth Group is for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The group meets every month for social events and social action as well as educational programs. The Junior Youth Group Advisor is Dustin Stein. This year, the students will be offered to participate in The Village Temple Oral History Project. Students will have the chance to work on documentaries about Israel, the Holocaust, and immigration to America.
The Senior Youth Group consists of teens in the 9th through 12th grades who meet regularly for social, educational and community service activities. Among their many activities, youth group members run their bi-weekly lounge nights, participate in services and social action during the High Holy Days, and plan and attend both their own and their regional conclaves, through their active involvement in NFTY-NYC.
Beit Midrash classes meet every two weeks, alternating with Senior Youth Group. Students are encouraged to participate in both of these unique programs for an integrated Jewish experience of friendship, study, and service.
